First, I would like to thank you for checking out our website and learning about our company. I was born Colombia and moved to South Florida at the age of nine and have lived here ever since. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife, who I’ve been with since we met in eighth grade. I know, crazy. We have two amazing boys who bring us so much joy. When I am not working, I am spending time with my awesome family doing typical dad stuff.During my teenage years, I really developed a love for music. It started with hip-hop and progressed to latin music. In high school, I went out every weekend chasing latin beats. During my senior year, I became more interested in who was playing the music and how. With some guidance and support from our families, a friend and I bought our first DJ system and started Fiesta Time Entertainment. We did our first party on Halloween of 2006, and kicked off our company with more gigs including my own prom in 2007. Throughout my college years, our mobile DJ business grew. The more parties I worked, the more I learned about the industry, music styles, and different types
of events. I learned about all the formalities that go into Weddings, Sweet Sixteens, Mitzvahs, Quinces, Corporate Events, and all types of festive occasions. Before I knew it, I was playing music of all genres for people of all generations; sounds from the 1920s to current hits.In late 2013, something happened that changed my life forever. I was diagnosed with Stage II Lung Cancer. That journey led me to give my heart to God and follow Jesus. By the grace of God, I was Cancer-Free within five months of getting diagnosed. This experience lead me to learn more about Christian Music and I found my passion growing as I did more events in the Christian Community. I then decided I wanted to provide a style of mixing music that was not just fun, but also clean and uplifting.In 2014, I officially changed the name of the company to Uplifting Entertainment. Since then, I have made wonderful friends and business partners who share my vision. We have been very blessed to find so much joy in our profession. Hablamos Español.
